Travelogue: Munchen

On our last night in Munich, we wandered about the more popular haunts in town.

We window-shopped for high fashion items ~ such as Lederhosen and Drindls. Now, no giggling. This is serious stuff! That Drindl outfit, with the scary matching purse, cost $500!

Which is the only reason why I didn't bring it home for my daughter. Man... how I would have loved to guilt her into wearing that little ditty around Salt Lake City!

Near sundown, we hung out for awhile in the square that houses the famous Glockenspiel. But, it never did spiel (play).

Because we had places to go and things to do...  beers to drink and brats to eat.

Here we be at the famous Hofbrau house, enjoying yet another oompah band!

I thought the Oompah's were just for tourists. They really play that crap over there?
